Mr. Vega attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Sciense degree in Electrical Engineering in June 2005. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico Law School in June 2008.
He served an internship with Judge Hermán Lugo Del Toro in the summer of 2006 and served as a law clerk at Guzmán and Rodríguez López Law Offices during 2007 and 2008.
In January 2009, he joined Weinstein-Bacal & Miller, P.S.C., as an associate attorney, which later became Weinstein-Bacal, Miller & Vega. Since 2014, he has been and currently is a partner at WBMV.
Mr. Vega practices in both the state and federal forums. His main areas of practice include, among others, commercial litigation, construction and code enforcement arbitration and litigation, permits, contracts, bankruptcy, and employment law.
A member of the Puerto Rico (2009) and the District of Columbia (2016) bars, Mr. Vega is admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the District of Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Federal and the District of Columbia Circuits.
He is married and the father of two young sons.
