Yashkiabette I. De Jesús Blanco attended the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in May 2018, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship as a Human Resources Office Assistant at the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (September 2016 – January 2017), where she developed training materials on topics such as discrimination, workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and domestic violence.

Ms. De Jesús Blanco later pursued her Juris Doctor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, graduating in May 2022 with a GPA of 3.95. During law school, she gained valuable practical experience through an internship at the Puerto Rico Property Registry (March 2020), analyzing public deeds to establish successive tracts and update the Karibe registration system.

Additionally, she participated in the Immigration Clinic, where she successfully obtained favorable rulings for clients, resulting in the cancellation of deportations and authorization to apply for permanent residency (2021-2022).

Ms. De Jesús Blanco held various leadership roles during her academic journey, including Executive Director of the Business Law Journal (2021-2022), Councilor and Secretary of the Student Council (2021-2022), and Treasurer of the Litigation Association (2020-2021). She also contributed to pro bono initiatives in Intellectual Property and the Caño Martín Peña community (2020-2021). She obtained a Mediation Certification from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2022.

In December 2020, Ms. De Jesús Blanco joined Weinstein-Bacal, Miller & Vega as a paralegal. After passing the Puerto Rico bar exam (2022), she became an associate attorney. She is licensed to litigate in the courts and quasi-judicial forums of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She is also licensed to practice Notary in Puerto Rico (2025).
